On September 19th PEAKS Pride learned that we had collected the most amount of food for the Northern Arizona Food Bank! We are very proud of the fact that of the total of 1947 pounds of food collected, PEAKS Pride collected 1096 pounds! That represents 56% of the total amount of food collected by all organizations, including those with over 25 employees! A heartfelt thank you goes out to all that helped us help those in need - here in Northern Arizona! We also look forward to participating next year, and encourage other organizations to do so also!

PEAKS Pride continues its efforts to collect food for the Northern Arizona Food Bank (NAFB) through September 15, 2008. You can drop off your canned foods to Starlight Pines Bed and Breakfast betweent the hours of 11am and 7pm. July 1 to August 10, 2008

The Board of Directors of PEAKS Pride is holding a charitable event for Northern Arizona Food Bank at Starlight Pines Bed and Breakfast here in Flagstaff, Arizona.

We plan to give tours of Starlight Pines Bed and Breakfast, 3380 E. Lockett Road on Sunday, August 10, 2008 from Noon to 4pm. The suggested donation is 3 to 5 cans of food and/OR $10 per person. This event benefits the Northern Arizona Food Bank (NAFB) and the communities surrounding Flagstaff that they serve and provide meals for. Should you not have time to take the tour of the Bed and Breakfast, just drop off your donation to our volunteers posted in the parking lot of the B&B!
