PEAKS Pride was formed the evening of February 1, 2008. The Mission of PEAKS Pride is to provide dedicated volunteers for service projects to the Flagstaff and Northern Arizona communities thus promoting equality through acts of kindness and service for the GLBTS members of the area. PEAKS Pride will also provide and sustain a community center for the benefit and use by the visitors and residents of Flagstaff and Northern Arizona.
To this beginning, we are soliciting through this letter, your help with donations from the residents and businesses in Flagstaff and Northern Arizona. PEAKS Pride is in the process of incorporating itself and filing for non-profit status via the 501 (c) 3 IRS application, and is in need of funds to complete these processes. We fully expect our applications and decisions to be completed and received by December 31, 2008. Please make your checks payable to PEAKS Pride and mail to: 3380 E Lockett Road, Flagstaff, Arizona 86004-4039.
